Therapy in Rancho Cordova and Folsom.
Therapy in Rancho Cordova and Folsom with Amanda McBee, LMFT, is parent-focused therapy for adults navigating anxiety, boundaries, and the patterns carried from their own childhood, offered in person in Rancho Cordova and by telehealth across California.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a parent-focused practice at 11121 Sun Center Drive, Suite F1, in Rancho Cordova, California, serving Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Roseville, El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park, and the wider Sacramento Metro East area. Parenting can leave you feeling exhausted and second-guessing yourself, and the work in therapy is about understanding what is happening beneath the day-to-day stress.
It is a no-pressure conversation to see if we are a good fit.
Who I work with locally
The parents I see in person are usually located in Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Roseville, El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park, or one of the surrounding Sacramento Metro East communities. Many of them prefer in-person sessions for the rhythm of leaving the house, sitting in a quiet room together, and treating therapy as a discrete weekly appointment. The work tends to focus on parent-specific themes including anxiety, codependency, boundaries and family-of-origin patterns, identity shifts in parenthood, and the patterns from your own childhood showing up in how you parent.
